Spring Wedding at Spanish Governor’s Palace

#wattsnottolove

I remember, back in March when it was cool and a bit rainy and I helped Destiny and Justin walk down the aisle as husband and wife at the Spanish Governors Palace.

It’s not so much that cool or rainy now but I love that I can look back on that wonderful spring wedding day and see exactly how two became one.

It was such a pleasure working with this bride as a day-of coordinator. She had everything in order and ready to go for me at the rehearsal: the white linens, the gold candelabras, and the personalized matchboxes. It’s always such a treasure to work with a bride who has a rich vision and can communicate it!

The big day ended up a bit more rainy than anyone expected but with no plan b, we just hoped for lots of umbrellas and good lighting for photos. And thankfully, that is exactly what we got!

Destiny was walked down the aisle by her sweet Dad awaiting the arms of her fiance. With no wedding party, this couple listened to the Good News be preached, sang a hymn with their closest friends and family, and kissed away the rain as it cleared upon the ending of the ceremony.

The night was filled with yummy Bill Miller BBQ, a blowup photo booth, and get’back moves on the dance floor. The couple danced the night away all to end it with a spectacular sparkler send-off with the city of San Antonio in the background.
