Simple Texas Wedding Near San Antonio Texas

I recently heard a rumor that there is a TV show called “90-day Fiance”.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m guessing it is not a positive connotation on a short engagement.

If you met Rashida and Jordan you would think differently. They had a quick 90-day engagement and a beautiful, simple, Hill Country Wedding in mid-August of 2018. I was honored to be apart of it all as their partial wedding planner.

The key to this is simple Texas wedding was love, beautiful bouquets, and pictures that make me want to hang them on my own walls. The love was found at church as they started to spend more and more time together. Mostly going to movies sharing chips and queso at Chili’s.

All of their love story was easily wrapped into the outdoor, simple Texas wedding aside Postoak Creek at an outdoor event venue. The bride and groom professed their covenant love and devotion to one another in front of their friends and family before indulging in a favorite treat of chicken fingers, cheeseburgers, and french fries from Mark Outings Famous Burger place on the eastside of San Antonio.

The wedding bouquets were full of late summer lavender, pink & peach colors alongside strawflower variance arranged by the bespoke floral designer, Hannah Flores at Madly and Love Blooms. She marvelously put together 7 bridesmaids bouquets and all the grooms boutonnieres plus an arch piece as a backdrop for the ceremony.

The heirloom style photos were creatively executed by Korina Marie Photography. She was a joy to work with and when she shared the gallery of wedding photos with me it was so great to see she had a knack for capturing moments like moms holding hands and dresses twirling on the dance floor.

After dinner, the new Mr & Mrs enjoyed dancing into the night with their friends, eating cupcakes and jetting through a trendy Texas wedding exit, of firework sparklers and off to a Caribbean cruise honeymoon.

It was such a joy to work with Rashida in partially planning her big wedding day in Texas. Together we designed the Chinese lantern globe table centerpieces to be surrounded by greens and lit with a led lights along with her dinner menu and day-of timeline. My favorite part about their wedding was the speeches given by their family and friends. They were dripping with sweet words of encouragement from loved ones and joyous memories of years gone by.

Prayers to this couple as they are about to hit their one-year wedding mark. All my love to you Rashida and Jordan.
